GAMEDRIVE END USER LICENCE AGREEMENT
Effective October 15, 2026
Your licence
This agreement is between you and Abokado Labs, not Apple. GameDrive is free to download. This agreement grants you a personal, non-transferable licence to use GameDrive on Apple devices associated with your App Store account, subject to Apple's usage rules. Optional in-app purchases unlock drive films, satellite maps and the camera advisor: a Safari Pass gives access for 30 days from purchase and does not renew automatically, and GameDrive Forever gives access with no time limit. Purchases are processed by Apple and charged to your Apple Account; refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.
Photography advice
GameDrive records game-drive routes and sightings, makes videos of them, and provides research-based safe starting points for wildlife photography. Recommendations depend on your inputs, selected gear, catalogue data, conditions, firmware, and camera configuration. They are not a guarantee of exposure, focus, safety, access, or a successful photograph and do not claim professional endorsement. Check your camera manual, histogram, highlights, focus, and results in the field. You remain responsible for camera operation and creative decisions.
Weather notice
YOUR USE OF THIS REAL TIME WEATHER GUIDANCE APPLICATION OR WEBSITE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK. WEATHER DATA MAY NOT BE ACCURATE.
Weather is supplied by Apple Weather and is supporting information inside a safari product. Do not use GameDrive for emergency, aviation, navigation, fire, flood, medical, or other safety-critical decisions. Forecast availability and accuracy vary by place and time. Apple Weather attribution is available at https://weatherkit.apple.com/legal-attribution.html.
Planning aids
GPS routes, distances, map positions, compass headings, sun paths, twilight, and event times are planning aids. Device sensors, map data, time zones, terrain, buildings, and atmospheric conditions can affect what you observe. Confirm access, direction, and conditions on site.
Driving safely
GameDrive is not a navigation aid. Do not operate the app while driving; let a passenger or your guide use it.
Respecting wildlife
Respect local laws, guides, landowners, protected areas, and ethical wildlife practice. Keep a safe distance, never pressure or bait wildlife for a photograph, and do not allow the app or camera to distract you from animals, vehicles, terrain, weather, or instructions from a guide.
Wildlife guidance
Wildlife occurrence and identification information is advisory. Citizen-science reports are incomplete and biased toward accessible and frequently visited places; absence or frequency in the app does not establish that a species is absent, common, safe, or legally approachable. Confirm identification with a qualified local guide or authoritative field reference. Sensitive and exact source-observation locations are not provided.
Privacy and Photo ID
The Wildlife guide sends only an area about 20-40 km across to Abokado Labs and iNaturalist. Your drives, routes, sightings, notes, selected photos and videos remain on the device unless you choose to share them. Videos you share may show your route; use Hide start and finish to keep where you stay private. Photo ID is an internal beta and is not part of the public release unless separately enabled after accuracy, licensing, and performance review.
Availability and liability
The app and its catalogue are provided as available. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Abokado Labs is not liable for missed photographs, lost or incomplete routes, equipment damage, travel costs, personal injury, wildlife disturbance, forecast errors, or indirect loss arising from use of the app. Nothing here excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Apple’s role
Apple is not responsible for GameDrive, its support, or its content. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this agreement and may enforce it. Where this agreement differs from Apple's App Store terms, Apple's applicable terms govern your use of the App Store and licensed application.
